I don't send out a newsletter too often, about anytime between once a month to a little over once a year. It depends on if I know why the heck I want to send out a newsletter for, and what I have to mention.

Why would you want to be informed about Doug? Here are some reasons:

• You know Doug, and don't feel like calling or send an email. You're not alone. This way you can find out about Doug.
• You like Doug's site, and want to be informed about major changes.
• You are planning to hate Doug, and need a lot of supporting reasons.
• You want to be the first on your block to find out when Doug changes his name to Alexander.
• You are certain Doug will be a success when he's older, and want to know just when would be the best time to sue him for money.
• You are certain Doug will be a complete failure when he's older, and want to know just when would be the best time to rub it in.
• You are Doug's mom. Mom, stop signing up. I have your name already.

Whatever your reason, signing up for Doug's newsletter is the best way to be up to date about Doug.

Actually calling me up or emailing me would be the best way, but that takes too much effort.
